No experience is comparable to a camel ride in the heart of the Sahara to the rhythm of the rhythmic steps of the faithful dromedaries. The days are punctuated by sunrise and sunset, these two absolutely unique moments to live in full consciousness.
Day 1: Welcome to Djerba
You arrive at Djerba airport and a private 4*4 transfer is scheduled to take you to Bir Abdallah.
Once there, you meet the camel drivers and start the caravan. After setting up the tents in an incredible setting in the middle of nowhere, you begin to disconnect as you savor the silence around you.
You light the wood fire with the team of camel drivers and prepare dinner in a Bedouin atmosphere before settling into your tent under a huge starry sky.
Journey: 5h min, 320 km
Day 2: Departure of the hike
You wake up gently with the first rays of sunshine. You have to rekindle the fire to prepare the sand bread and have breakfast.
Today begins the caravan towards the second camp point. A hike at your own pace of 2 or 3 hours awaits you during which you will be amazed. If you are tired, you can count on your faithful friend, the dromedary to carry you.
After lunch, you continue with a 2-hour hike and settle in for the night in Legwitssa before the sun sets. You settle in your tents for a second night of change of scenery in the middle of the desert where the only sound you hear is that of the songs of the camel drivers and their stories…
Journey: 4 to 5 hours

Aux premiers rayons de soleil, vous vous réveillez, la tête déjà pleine de souvenirs de la soirée passée et le sourire aux lèvres.
Les chameliers ont déjà allumé le feu et préparé la table pour un petit-déjeuner délicieux.
Puis la journée commence en suivant le rythme des dromadaires.
Après le déjeuner, vous arrivez à Jaw Ethnia, installez les tentes et aidez à la préparation du dîner si le coeur vous en dit !

Day 4: Jwa Ethnia to the airport
It’s already the end of your camel trek in the Sahara! After breakfast, you take the road to the airport for your return flight.
